Regarding cloud ( if set to 0), is it that acquisition will not be planned if cloud is more that 0?

The cloud figure is a qualifier parameter, just that. The acquisition will not be planed if you have configured the sensor with a Cloud Constraint and the cloud figure is out of the defined bounds See more here: http://1.help.taitussoftware.com/SaVoir/help/content/6.advanced/constraints/clouds/clouds.htm

There is an option provided for incidence angle for optical satellite also, is it applicable? what does stand OFF mean here

Yes, if incidence angle is defined for optical satellites, it will be used. You can define sensor geometries with three alternative methods: look angle, incidence angle, or Stand-Off Stand off is the on-ground distance between subsatellite point and observation point, measured at the equator. You can define the sensor geometry via Stand-off which is equivalent […]

Under sensor type in Sensor wizard, what is difference by steerable continuous, steerable enumarative and swath file?

Steerable continuous: Is a sensor which can be freely steerable to any intermediate position. Typically this is applicable to optical sensors mounted on board agile satellites where the full satellite platform is rolled to point to the desired looking angle. Steerable enumerative: Is a sensor which has a limited set of predefined looking positions.Typically this […]

What if TLEs are not getting updated from the websites provides by Taitus?

TLEs are normally retrieved from Taitus servers, from addresses like this http://1.software.taitussoftware.com/savoir/commercial/TwoLineElements/OpticalSatellites.tles.txt Make sure your firewall is not blocking server 1.software.taitussoftware.com If TLEs are not updated for too long (> 7 days) , SaVoir will write the satellite name in red. SaVoir will nevertheless continue using the latest available TLEs for the satellite, but you can […]

Our second time at SSSIF

For the second consecutive year we participate to SSSIF ( Spanish Small Satellite International Forum). The event for small satellites designers, technicians, developers & launchers, took place in Malaga from 25 to 27 of February. We decided to repeat the experience of 2019 because we have seen a lot of interest in our main software SaVoir and […]
